We deep fry in beef tallow — a higher-quality, more natural alternative to the ultra-processed seed oils most restaurants rely on. It’s the kind of fat diners and hot dog stands used before industrial oils took over. Tallow fries crisper, tastes cleaner, and holds up better at high heat. Simply put: it’s a better way to make craveable food feel intentional — not junky.

Our Co-Founder and Executive Chef, Daniel Fabian, creates every recipe from scratch. We use real olive oil in all of our kitchens — no canola, no mystery blends. Every menu item is built from the ground up with fresh herbs, real salt, and hand-picked meats. We don’t chase trends. We chase balance, flavor, and food that makes you feel good even after the meal is over.

Not every small brand can say they have custom-developed products — but we can. Through a two-year collaboration with Thumann’s Hot Dogs, we created our very own Original (pork & beef blend) and Signature (all-beef) hot dogs.
Hundreds of variations. Countless tastings.
The result? A hot dog that’s lighter, snappier, less salty, and designed to work with any topping we throw at it — from candied bacon to spicy onions.

At every 1950 Originals location, we hire cooks and chefs who take real cooking seriously. They’re trained in flavor stacking, balance, and execution. For us, it’s never “just a hot dog” or “just fries” — it’s a plate of carefully considered flavors, textures, and experience.
